Colorado Alumni Engagement Specialist

The Colorado Alumni Engagement Specialist is responsible for managing meaningful alumni engagement opportunities for alumni throughout Colorado and Southern Wyoming, excluding the seven-county metro Denver area and Fort Collins. They will build positive relationships with alumni as well as internal and external partners and create and manage meaningful engagement opportunities for alumni to strengthen their relationship with CSU. This will be accomplished through virtual and face-to-face meetings as well as planning and executing programs and events across Colorado and Southern Wyoming in order to meet unit goals. They will serve as an Alumni Association lead on a variety of events and programs and will collaborate with various campus partners in the delivery of these programs. While working directly with the Managing Director of Alumni Engagement, this position will be responsible for consulting and executing a Colorado alumni engagement master plan and strategy that will align with the overall engagement strategy for the Alumni Association.

This position is based out of the Alumni Association office on the CSU Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado and reports to the Managing Director of Alumni Engagement. This position requires the ability to lift/carry 25 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation or access to a driver. This is a 12-month, full-time appointment.

Talent and HR Generalist

The TMHR unit seeks to fill a Talent and HR Generalist position. This role serves as a comprehensive generalist, in support of the overall strategic mission of University Advancement. A successful candidate will possess the ability to build strong relationships. The role will partner with supervisors to develop position descriptions, implement benefits and leave administration, manage the division’s recognition and incentive strategies, provide support for TMHR processes while establishing strong administrative functions for the unit, as well as support the division as an HR resource for questions, advice, counsel and conflict resolution.

The TMHR Generalist must have the ability to streamline existing HR functions, and ensure complex programs and processes are clear throughout the division. This position will also have responsibility for utilizing our applicant tracking system (TMS) to assist in the position classification process. This position will also be responsible to infuse diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of their work in order to contribute to ensuring staff of all backgrounds feel represented and included.
This position is a 12-month full-time appointment, based in Fort Collins and reporting to the Executive Director of Talent and HR, with the potential for flexible work arrangements, including remote work.

Student Advancement Associate, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences

The Office of Advancement in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) is hiring a Student Advancement Associate! This position plays an important role in CVMBS fundraising efforts by providing administrative and project support to the CVMBS development team.

College of Liberal Arts Engagement and Events Coordinator

The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Student Engagement and Events Coordinator shall support the CLA Development team primarily by producing and managing 4-6 small donor events annually. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the CLA Student Coordinator shall perform other Development related duties as assigned, including administrative support and donor stewardship.
We are looking for a student who can work the 22/23 school year and would also be open to a student working Summer 2022. Please indicate your seasonal ability on your cover letter.

Digital Engagement Center Student Ambassador

Do you love talking to people? Apply today to become a Student Ambassador at the Digital Engagement Center, CSU’s fundraising call center located on campus in the Smith Alumni Center. You’ll spend your time talking on the phone and texting with alumni and friends of CSU, building positive relationships, and asking for gifts to support initiatives across campus.

This is a great opportunity to develop your communication and sales skills, which are especially helpful if you’re planning to go into business, marketing, non-profit/fundraising, or communication fields after graduation. We’ll give you the experience and skills to help you communicate clearly and advocate for your causes.
