Calendar – April 2017
UA Brown-bag Series
Coaching for Professional Development and Learning
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, May 4 | Room 308-10 Lory Student Center
Please join us for the first Google Supervisory Training module that has been adapted for the UA Brown Bag Series. As you may recall, UA offered a two-day supervisory training last fall. The first module on coaching was one of our most popular, and we are opening it up to all aspiring supervisors in the division.
Due to the rescheduling of the UA Division meeting, we are moving the session from April 24 to May 4. Also, please do not attend this session if you went through the Google Supervisory Training or the Coaching Training for the Mentorship Program, as the content is the same.
The old rules of management and supervision simply don’t work with today’s complex workforce. That’s why the most effective leaders in America now rely on the power of coaching to lead their teams to success. Coaching through conversations is essential and is the single most important managerial competency that separates highly effective managers from average ones. Come join us as we provide you information on how to create your own "coaching habit" to better equip, encourage, and empower employees to be successful by guiding their ongoing progress and removing obstacles that stand in their way.
To RSVP, please e-mail Alexis.Kanda-Olmstead@colostate.edu.
