WHAT’S YOUR ROLE WITHIN UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT?
Assistant director of development operations for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Office of Advancement. I oversee the daily operations, donor relations and stewardship activities, and scholarship operations for my team.

TELL US SOMETHING UNIQUE OR UNEXPECTED ABOUT YOU.
At first glance, everyone thinks I write with my left hand. Then they look closer and realize I’m right-handed but writing like a lefty.

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO GIVE OF YOUR TIME, TALENTS, TREASURES?
Okay, boring alert – I’m currently spending all of my free time remodeling my house. I also enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my partner, Will, and our golden retriever, Tahoe.

WHAT MOVIE/TV/NOVEL CHARACTER DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH AND WHY?
Annie Hall, because I’m petrified of spiders.

Assistant director of alumni relations – Denver. As part of the Alumni Association team, my focus is on engaging alumni in the Denver Metro area.

My entire family is from Ghana, West Africa. Almost all middle names in the Ghanaian culture denote what day you are born. My middle name, Adwoa (ad-ju-ah), means that I was born on a Monday.

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO GIVE OF YOUR TIME, TALENTS, TREASURES?
I tend to give my time volunteering for organizations that aim to have a direct impact on people’s lives. Such organizations include World Vision, the American Red Cross, and Royal Family Kids Camp.

HOW DO YOU RECHARGE?
Spending time alone at home with a good book and my pup, Ollie!
