CSU Alumni Association Membership Drive Update

This week, the Alumni Association kicked off a six-week membership drive that will run through March 31. In addition to a mailing, e-mail, and social media, Ram Networks across the country will compete against each other to increase membership in their regions. The winning network will get a unique Alumni Association event hosted in their area next year.

Department of Athletics

Registration for the 36th annual Ram Good Time Auction is open. Last year’s Ram Good Time Auction raised $275,815 for Rams student-athletes in just one night, and we are looking to surpass that fundraising mark this year. New this year, the Ram Good Time Auction will offer a VIP Reception and Green Carpet Experience before the event opens, where guests can interact with athletics senior staff and head coaches and get a preview of the silent auction items. Ram Good Time Auction information can be found by clicking here.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the Ram Club and CSU Athletics hosted more than 150 donors and Rams fans at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver to celebrate the 2017 Rams football recruiting class. This annual event is an important occasion where CSU Athletics engages with our fans, donors, and alumni located in Denver.

University Advancement Development

Donor Relations and Stewardship has an open search for an associate director. If you have any questions about the position, please contact Colleen Meyer at colleen.meyer@colostate.edu.

The evolution continues, as the Principal Gifts team bids a fond farewell to Dan Westermann as he shifts back to full time with Gift Planning, celebrates Amanda Giacalone’s recent promotion to regional director of development, and begins the process to hire a new assistant director of development! We have a couple of great events coming up as well. John Festervand will attend a campaign event in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 24, and Shannon Mosness will travel to Arizona for Rams at the Rockies Spring Training on March 6.

The Office of Gift Planning has updated and improved the gift planning website! Please point your donors interested in making a planned gift to http://giftplanning.colostate.edu/.
