TELL US SOMETHING UNIQUE OR UNEXPECTED ABOUT YOU.
I ran the 3K steeplechase in college track and field. It’s seven laps around the track where you jump over hurdles and through a water pit. Google “steeplechase fails” if you need a good laugh!

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO GIVE OF YOUR TIME, TALENTS, TREASURES?
Aside from CSU, I am extremely passionate about an organization called Flying Kites, which supports vulnerable children in persistent and extreme poverty in rural Kenya. I have been involved with them since high school, and they are the reason I work in the nonprofit industry today. This spring, I am proud and excited to be running the Boston Marathon as a charity runner and working to raise $10,000 for them! I also like to support WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County that supports child care scholarships for single mothers pursuing higher education.

HOW DO YOU RECHARGE?
Long-distance trail runs.
