Major Gift Announcements 

The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering received a $20 million regular active pledge in support of the Walter Scott, Jr. Undergraduate Scholarships ($6 million); Walter Scott, Jr. Dean’s Strategic Discretionary fund ($2.5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Environmental Science and Engineering ($2.5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Health ($2.5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Energy ($2.5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Water ($2.5 million); and the Walter Scott, Jr. Graduate Fellowship ($1.5 million).

The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering received a $20 million irrevocable testamentary commitment in support of the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Environmental Science and Engineering ($5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Health ($5 million); the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Energy ($5 million); and, the Walter Scott, Jr. Presidential Chair in Water ($5 million).

The College of Health and Human Sciences received a $2 million outright cash gift in support of the Richardson Design Center.

A $1.5 million active revocable commitment trust was received with allocations in support of the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering Hydraulics Laboratory ($525,000), College of Liberal Arts McBride Endowment ($525,000), and Division of Enrollment and Access Students First Scholarship Endowment ($450,000).

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $750,000 active revocable commitment in support of the Dr. Sarah Lindsay Schillereff Memorial Scholarship Endowment.

The College of Agricultural Sciences received a $550,000 outright cash gift in support of Equine Outreach and Industry Relations ($400,000) and the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies Program ($150,000).

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $541,180 outright securities gift in support of the Animal Heart Center.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $500,000 active revocable commitment in support of the CVMBS Greatest Need fund.

The Department of Athletics received a $430,799.59 regular active pledge in support of football premium seating.

A $351,190 irrevocable life estate gift of land was received with allocations to the Department of Athletics ($175,595), Alumni Association ($140,476), Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering ($35,119).

The College of Health and Human Sciences received a $280,000 outright cash gift in support of the Patterson Family and Beavers Charitable Trust Heavy Construction Initiative Endowment.

The Department of Athletics received a $250,000 active revocable commitment in support of the CSU Stadium.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $250,000 active revocable commitment bequest in support of the Dr. Sarah Lindsay Schillereff Memorial Scholarship Endowment.

The College of Health and Human Sciences received a $200,000 active revocable commitment in support of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.

The College of Health and Human Sciences received a $192,495 outright cash gift in support of Institute for the Built Environment outreach.

The College of Agricultural Sciences received a $175,000 regular active pledge in support of the Global Food Innovation Center in Honor of Gary and Kay Smith.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $150,000 outright cash gift in support of Holly’s Legacy.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $150,000 outright cash gift in support of the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital general fund for cardiology section equipment.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $150,000 active revocable commitment trust in support of the Dr. Sarah Lindsay Schillereff Memorial Scholarship Endowment.

The College of Agricultural Sciences received a $148,525 outright gift-in-kind in support of the C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity.

The Alumni Association received a $130,605.38 outright gift of securities in support of the Iris and Michael Smith Alumni Center project.

The Department of Athletics received two $60,239.20 regular active pledges in support of football premium seating.

The Department of Athletics received a $105,266.59 regular active pledge in support of football premium seating.

The College of Liberal Arts received a $100,000 pledge in support of enhancements in audio and video technology for the University Center for the Arts.

The Morgan Library received a $100,000 cash gift in support of the Morgan and University Libraries Endowment.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $100,000 outright cash gift in support of the Center for Companion Animal Studies.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $100,000 outright cash gift in support of equine orthopaedic research.

The Warner College of Natural Resources received a $100,000 revocable commitment bequest in support of the Susan McHenry Scholarship Endowment.

The Warner College of Natural Resources received a $74,630 outright cash gift in support of the D.R. and Ginny Pulliam Bobcat Ridge Scholars Program.

The College of Liberal Arts received a $68,800 outright cash gift in support of the Dame Jackie Marching Band Scholarship.

The College of Health and Human Sciences received a $66,000 active revocable commitment in support of the Health and Human Sciences Enrichment fund.

A $65,000 outright cash gift was received in support of ARCS Foundation Scholarships to the following colleges: College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences ($26,000), Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering ($19,500), and College of Natural Sciences ($19,500).

The College of Agricultural Sciences received a $60,000 outright cash gift in support of the Temple Grandin Project.

The College of Natural Sciences received a $60,000 outright cash gift in support of the Department of Physics Endowment.

The Warner College of Natural Resources received a $59,066.67 regular active pledge in support of the Colorado Natural Heritage Program.

The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering received a $50,000 regular active pledge in support of the James C. Linden Fellowship Endowment.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $50,000 planned gift in support of the Eula C. Voirol Scholarship.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a $50,000 outright cash gift in support of the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Family Equine Hospital.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the College of Health and Human Sciences received a $50,000 active revocable commitment, with $25,000 allocated to the CVMBS Department of Anatomy and $25,000 allocated to the CHHS Department of Occupational Therapy.

The Warner College of Natural Resources received a $50,000 outright cash gift in support of Dillon Reservoir recreational/sport fishing research.
