Effectively Supervising Students
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 | Room 308-10 Lory Student Center
Is your unit feeling understaffed? Student employees can be an incredible resource if they are managed well. Join us at the first UA Brown-Bag, “Effectively Supervising Students,” facilitated by Shannon Dale, CHHS development operations coordinator, and Natalie Smith, UAD coordinator. They will share best practices in hiring (posting jobs, interviewing, HR procedures, and work study), tips for onboarding and training, ways to manage performance evaluations, and the importance of appreciating student employees. To RSVP, please accept the Sept. 8 Outlook invite from Alexis Kanda-Olmstead, or e-mail her at Alexis.Kanda-Olmstead@Colostate.edu.
